Lesson: 20 - Closed captions and transitions.

Purpose:Learn how to insert the text versions of the audio content of a video and add transition between videos.

Materials Required

Laptop, Internet connection, online clipchamp software, e-mail id with password.

Students should be able to download images and videos.

Teacher's Instruction
  1. While the students learn, the teacher should observe whether they articulate the words like closed captions, audio, play, download captions(.srt), transcript, turn off auto captions, hide captions, show captions, transitions, duration, timeline between two clips and become familiar with these terms.
  2. Guidance should be given for the students for every exercise and allow them to share in their peer group.
  3. Ask the students to find out whether it is possible to edit the captions.
  4. Ask the students to find out whether it is possible to to have closed captions in Tamil as well as English together in a particular video.
  5. Ask them to find out whether it is possible to create closed captions in their neighboring states' languages.
  6. Ask them to find out how to remove the closed caption after getting created in the video.
  7. Ask them to think about why the video should include voice audio.
  8. Ask them to think about why the transition is used in a video clip.
  9. Ask them to find out the contents of the .SRT file when the closed captions is generated.
